The weather has taken a turn for the warm, which means the ice is breaking up on the river. It also means that the top layer of snow melts during a sunny day, and then re-freezes at night. This makes for slippery conditions, and on Tuesday I had my first wipeout on my bike since coming to Sweden 16 months ago. I am not injured, just a little bumped and my tights suffered from a long slide on the tiny rocks they put down for grip (not enough rocks for me to keep grip, but enough to put holes in my tights.)

Things look ominous on the river. Sorry to hear about your spill. It’s always bogus when something gets torn/wrecked that won’t just heal. Boo.
