Old friend Stefan and his friend Hester met me in Stockholm on Monday. I was up for a few mid-week days off after my Sunday night shift. We toured Gamla Stan, which is the largest medieval city centre in Europe.
Stockholm is surrounded by water and connected by bridges. We took the ferry to Vasamuset to see a ship that sank in 1628. It was far too dark to take good pictures of the ship, so here is a shot stolen from their website and some water-and-city shots:
