With all the melting I thought our skiing time was over, but yesterday when I left the gym it was snowing hard. Visibility-choking, overcast, grey, and blanketing the city in about 15cm in snow. It was a tough and slow ride home, but I was enthusiastic about skiing the next day.

After laundry and chores, I ended up hitting the trails just about noon. It was gloriously sunny and warm enough to wear a T-shirt in the sunny spots! That meant it was pretty soggy though, and my no-klister status meant I did a lot of double-polling and herringboning. Fun nonetheless, and a nice surprise to be able to ski this weekend, and I plan to go out tomorrow too.

Our skiing is over for the season – well not because lack of snow but because I REALLY like paddling best.
