Last Friday David flew into Saskatoon for the first part of reading break. Monday was family day and I took a couple extra days off, so we had 5 days with big brother.
David is a keen winter sports enthusiast, so the first thing we did was a snowshoe down to the farmers’ market for lunch.
The next day we drove up to Eb’s trails for the annual ‘Eb’s day’. There were more people than I had ever seen, as well as marshmallow and hot dog roasting, hot chocolate and other snacks. It was very festive, even by Hemlingby standards. I ate a cheese and guava paste sandwhich but did not feel left out.
Eb’s was great, and we also got to see Holiday park and Kinsmen, as well as a local yoga class, trip to the Mendel, and lunch at the Hollows.
Welcome back anytime David! Maybe some other Westcoasters will see the fun pictures and decide to brave the cold.
These pictures look like so much fun!
The snow adventures and sibling time = so awesome!
Sounds like you really got up to some fun adventures, and so many fun ways to be active!
love you.

Note placement of bullet holes in the NO MOTOR TOBOGGANS sign. Is this a we mean business message?
I didn’t notice the bullet holes… that is kind of redneck to shoot the stickman snowmobiler. However, it is an active hunting area and red/yellow clothing is generally advised, especially in deer season.
